I am excited to share about my apartment in Kandern which is a 5 minute walk to the BFA main campus. It is a one-room efficiency apartment on the 2nd floor with a small balcony! I am really excited about the balcony:) The apartment includes a kitchenette within the bedroom and living area and a bathroom with a shower in a separate space. Since the apartment is a BFA rental, BFA holds the lease and sublets to staff members. It comes partially furnished with more details coming later. It is located right across the street from a bakery/café and there are other staff members in the neighborhood!
Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support! I am halfway with support and as you read above, BFA has located an apartment for my arrival! When I reach 90% in support, they will help to arrange for my flight tickets. For now, I will continue to work diligently and trust that God will bring in the support needed. He is always so faithful and is walking with me as I prepare to travel. I am so excited and itching to go, but praying for peace and patience during this time.
There has been significant flooding here in Northern Colorado as well. Many people and families have been evacuated from their homes or rescued from rising floodwaters. Please pray for these families that God would hold them close and perhaps open their eyes to His presence. The Denver Post is a good resource if you would like more information about these events.
