Welcome to my home!

Come on in and look around! I have been meaning to take pictures of my apartment and share with everyone. It is pouring outside today, so shake out your umbrella as you step into the front door. Come up the stairs and wipe your feet on the mat in front of my door. Don't forget to take your shoes off at the door and come on in (German style)!  Welcome!

Here is my bedroom in the first three photos. I am in the top floor or attic and have skylights so get a lot of lovely sunshine! It was quite warm when I first arrived in July but now it is wonderful!

This is my bathroom and sink, which is in the hallway. I purchased a rag rug from the Vance birthplace outside of Weaverville, NC and have it in front of my sink. Messerschmitt, my kitty loves to hide beneath it!

This photo looks from my bedroom into the kitchen and living area. We are going to head to the kitchen next!

Sit down for a cup of tea or a bottle of cold kombucha! I do not have any coffee, but have a French press if you bring your own!

I love that my kitchen is nice and open with lots of cupboard space! I enjoy using a lot of spices in my cooking so definitely need the room!

We have just entered my living room and here is my desk in the back corner. I also have some art supplies stored in here so I can play with some painting. I also have a projector from the previous owners so I can watch movies on my wall!

Here is looking back from the living room to my bedroom.

I love the German Christmas stars! I found this one at a German Christmas market a few years ago and have it hung up in my kitchen.

Messerschmitt was following me around as I was taking photos and took a break on my counter. It is his apartment, of course. :)

And my real Christmas tree! I have this in my living room and keep the door closed when I am not in there as Messerschmitt loves to bat at the ornaments and climb the tree! I am also working on a puzzle and he will grab pieces in his mouth and run off with them which has me chasing him to get them back! His whole idea! He loves being chased!
I hope you enjoyed the tour! You are welcome to stay around for awhile and sip your drink! Thank you for coming!
