Welcome to my family's home!

This home holds so many special memories for me and my brothers. When my parents were first married and when we were young, the house was usually neat, clean and mostly organized. As time passed, stuff was collected inside and out and the house seemed to get smaller and smaller. As both of our parents are now with Christ, we have been working on sorting through things in the house, letting go of a lot of stuff and cleaning away the dirt and grime that has accumulated. 

My dad loved my mom well and worked so hard to care for her that he did not have the time to take care of the house. 

My brothers and I have spent the past several days sorting, packing, letting go and cleaning mainly the kitchen and living room. Daniel worked on trimming dead branches and mowed the lawn. Josh has been working on the basement and Nathan has been helping Daniel collect trash outside to haul to the dump. 

Yesterday, dear friends of Nathan and Jen came to help us haul trash, donate, pack away and clean. So much has been done and the house feels like a sweet home again! I took some pictures and have shared them below and if you scroll to the end, you will have a live tour!
