Middle School International Chapel

Middle School International Chapel and lunch is such an incredible day! Students had a sweet day of celebrating God's heart for the nations. They could dress in the clothes of a culture they have grown up in. Parents and staff made dishes from around the world creating a delicious lunch with many different flavors. Our hightlight was the extended chapel time where we began with a fun game, then Ms. Ross did a roll call of nations. As she called out different nations represented by our students, the flag of that nation appeared on the screen and students could stand, clap, and cheer. Several of our middle school students shared Bible verses in multiple languages. One of the students who read is one of my 6th graders and is from Korea. We had several parents and staff set up prayer stations around the auditorium where a group of students could visit. The parent/staff member shared about that country including prayer requests then we took time to pray over those requests. This is always the highlight of this chapel time for me to hear of different cultures around the world and how we can come alongside our brothers and sisters who are ministering there and pray for them. We ended in song where several high school students lead us in worship - songs sung in several languages - (another favorite!) a beautiful glimpse of God's Kingdom around the world.

Psalm 22:27
"All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you."

If you would like to see the recorded videos of students reading Bible verses, the roll call of nations, and the worship in several languages, look up "Black Forest Academy" on Facebook and scroll down just a bit. Or look up my ministry group on Facebook, "Karen's Ministry at BFA" and scroll down just a bit.
