Who remembers learning about Commutative, Associative, Identity, and Distributive Properties? Anyone? Most of us probably do not recall learning these vital elements of math and most likely were sleeping that day during class! How do you help you students understand the importance of knowing mathematical properties and enjoy the process? They get to created a fun skit! The class was split into three groups and each group had about 5 minutes to compose their skit. We then went out into the courtyard to rehearse and film our productions! Here is what they came up with! Enjoy!
Group 1: Identity Property
Group 2: Commutative Property
Group 3: Associative Property
We will have to keep playing and stretch our acting skills along with our creative on other topics in math!
