Chillin' and Grillin' at the Middle School!

At the end of our SEW week, our middle school has Chillin' and Grillin'. Kind of our second half of our Back to School Bash. We desire for our Middle School students to be a loving community for each other and have opportunities to get to know each other. We meet up for some games and end with a cook-out. This year, our students were a part of a photo scavenger hunt! There were four teams; 5th graders, 6th graders, 7th graders, and 8th graders. Each grade needed to complete a list of photo tasks or as many as possible in the time allotted. I have attached some photos of our fun! I traveled around with our 6th graders.
When we were finished with our scavenger hunt, we met up at Palmgarten (girls dorm) where there is an open fire pit, volleyball court, lots of open grass space, and picnic tables. We ate dinner of hotdogs, chips and soda then had some time to run around and play some games. We ended our evening with some worship around the campfire where Danny and his worship team sang some more worship songs. It was a great ending to a wonderful week!

Everyone had to be on the bench! I was checking to make sure all feet were up! :)
We had to find a cyclist who was willing to have his/her picture taken with us! Some of our students speak German and asked this gentleman is they could have a picture with him! He got a kick out of us, I think!

We had to have our picture taken in front of the Eis Cafe (Ice Cream) and would get extra points if the owner and his wife were in the photo along with there random strangers. We got the owner and two random strangers!
Students needed to have their picture taken with a shopping cart. Extra points if their teachers are in the shopping cart! No problem! Love this job!!!
So, by now, you should be able to pick out our class clown, right?
All our feet had to be off the ground!
 Selfie!

How many can fit in a phone booth? Not sure what is with the side arm thing?
Below are a few pictures from our time singing around the campfire which ended our evening together.
