God's blessings: Friends and Family!

I am really looking forward to a year of re-connecting with family and friends! Catching up, sharing stories of my 5 years at Black Forest Academy in Germany, my current goals of beginning Master's classes, Bible Study Fellowship and future goals including heading back to BFA in Germany next year!

I had the privilege of teaching both of these boys when they were 3 and 4!! Cannot believe how tall they are now! It was so great to catch up with this sweet family!

In September, I traveled to the Pacific Northwest to see a BFA friend, cousins, classmate and former room-mate! Beth, above, spent two years teaching in the BFA middle school and the students she taught still love her!!!! She is an amazing, talented teacher and a great friend for adventures! This picture was taken at Johnston's Observatory close to Mt. St. Helen's.

My cousin and his wife and sweet new baby also live in the Pacific Northwest. We spent a day together having lunch, hiking and trying to figure out the best way to carry a baby for a hike. My cousin is an MK and grew up overseas.

One of my Hillcrest Lutheran Academy classmates lives with her family in the Northwest. It was so much fun to catch up and play a beanbag game with her kids in the backyard. I found out I am quite good at this game! I had a blast hanging out with her family!

My former room-mate from Ft. Collins now lives in Seattle and it was fun to train down and spend the weekend with her!! She showed me the top tourist sites including a gum wall and a moving fish at the fish market. It was so much fun to catch up with her!

I am so looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible!! If you are here in Colorado, I will be going through the alphabet. So, A's and B's, you will be first! If you are further down and would like to meet up at a certain time this year, let me know. I will be speaking shortly at Faith Church in Fort Collins on October 7th and have a table set up. Come and talk to me if you will be there that weekend!
