What a performance! Our middle school students nailed it! They did such a marvelous job! I went to see the play last evening, Friday and enjoyed the humor, costumes, sword fighting and the fun characters our students played! I am sharing photos taken by one of our mom's as she takes great pictures! Enjoy!

In this rendition of Robin Hood, the Sheriff of Nottingham has a French wife who has a love of society, fashion and various French words! She is in the background in a blue dress. Her 'daughter' is in front of her and is silly, has cute pigtails to match her ditsy laughter and falls down when she curtsies. The lady in front is Prince John's sister (Lady Merle); is in league with Prince John and attempts to control the story.

Near the end, Maid Marian's (girl in purple) life is in danger (of course) as Kaspar of Lincolnshire (archer working for the Sheriff) threatens her with an arrow. The Sheriff is the character on the far right in the black hat.

Lady Merle (girl in red headdress) who is also in my 8th grade math class! Four out of my six 8th grade students were a part of the play! Ten of my fourteen 7th graders were apart of the play. Students spent over 50 hours of rehearsal time for this production! They have worked so hard! So many others  in our community have also given of their time and talents to bring this production to life!

Here is Robin Hood to the rescue!

The boy in the black cloak is King Richard in disguise who was keeping an eye on what was going on in Sherwood Forest. The girl in front with the wild hair is an old widow and is the daughter of the photographer.
